Peg Trousers

This isn't really a what-I-wore post, but more of a how-should-I-wear-it post. I've been after some tapered trousers for yongos but none I've tried fit very well. I found these in Zara last week, I've never actually bought anything from there before but I've heard it's cheap so £39.99 is more than I was expecting to pay but I can't find any cheaper ones that fit! Now that I've got them, I don't have a clue how to wear them, I just can't decide! What do you think?

Exciting things have happened while I was away - I've now got over 100 followers! Brilliant. Thank you so much for reading this rubbish, you're all gem's, and also probably a bit odd. So I've hit 100, which I'm so pleased about, but it gets better still... I've had my first anonymous hate comment! YES! In my book that's great news; someone actually thinks my blog is worth spending 5 minutes writing shit about, then filling in the letter generator thing. So I'd like to thank you anonymous 'bangs' hater, and let you know that my unclassy look is here to stay.

  1. Love how you've styled the pants! The last look is my fave - I think the hat wins me over. Also, that's quite odd about the breath test. Even if I'm stone cold sober I still get jittery if I get tested. And after hearing your story I don't think I'll ever be completely at ease! Lucky you escaped arrest :) Although that would've been pretty badass haha.

  2. I love your pants and your story is pretty funny! I've been stopped by so many cops in the past for my headlights being broken... such a waste of time lol!

  3. I think those trousers are perfect on you & definite keepers :)

Congratulations on the followers & the hate comment! I've had a couple of those & I remember when I got my first one, I thought pretty much the same as you - wow, I must've made it!

  4. Ugh, what a nightmare. I would've been terrified! In regards to the trousers - I think the first look is a sure winner, girl x

  5. I think that all the looks are great but I'm a hat girl :} haha x

  6. You have to be careful with medicines I know a lot contain alcohol and how scary that must be if you got arrested for that.
The trousers look great and I love those TopShop sandals.

  7. Love these trousers!
They totally suit you and you've styled them awesomely :)

    I am Abimarvel.

  8. I love your trousers, really chic. The outfit is really cute.

  9. looks amazeo, really like the different shades of brown, very autumnal!

sounds hilarious with the police, obvs it wouldn't be had you been arrested but i guess you have to make light of it. doing nothing with the bloke's the best thing ever.

ps. i love your 'bangs' they frame your face really nicely and make your cheeks look lovely

  10. I love all these outfits, but I think I like the second one best. I have a bit of a thing for a combination of 'rocky' t-shirts and formal trousers or skirts.

Congratulations on the 100+ followers xxx

  11. Omgosh thank GOODNESS you didn't get arrested.

I love those pants ALL of the ways you wore them. See, you know how to create an outfit. Just believe in yourself.

Uhm... did someone really say that your bangs were... unclassy? That's what I'm getting from this. I'm going to have to investigate because that's just ridiculous.

Also I just found your blog, I love it, and I'm going to become a follower. :)

  12. Ugh what is with colds going around!? I hope you are feeling better. I am in love with those pants, they look so incredibly comfortable.

  13. Hi there!

  22. these pants are the cutest. love your blog. i'm following xxx

  23. For ways to wear your pants, I would suggest pulling your tucked shirt out a bit so it looks more billowy. Or, you could wear it with some tasteful crop tops, like Hedvig (her website's http://almostsevendaysaweek.blogg.se/) in her May 2010 posts. It's in Swedish, so you might have to plug the website into google translate, but her outfits are usually pretty enough to make up for the language barrier!

  24. That's a hilarious story! It would indeed have been bad to be arrested over lemsip!

I like your pants, and the way you're wearing them. Anything girly yet minimal works with that style, I think. And I have to say, I've always found Zara a big rip off. I have some good things from there, but I've never understood why people say its cheap. Bah!
